Shelf Stable Vanilla Frosting

- Powdered Sugar – 64.5
- Shortening – 14.3
- Water – 16.9
- High Fructose Corn Syrup – 3.5
- Vanilla – 0.1
- Vinegar – 0.2
- SOR-Mate Natural Preservative by J&K Ingredients – 0.6
Method
- Place powdered sugar and shortening in a mixing bowl with paddle and cream on 1st for 30 seconds, scrape, then cream on 2nd for 1 minute.
- Add in corn syrup, vinegar, vanilla, SOR-Mate and water and mix on 1st for 30 seconds, scrape, and then mix on 2nd for 1 minute.
