Brought to you by the Food Processing Suppliers Association
In the baking industry, there’s a clear focus on ingredients and formulas. And while these are crucial aspects, processing equipment and technologies can be just as important. Without efficient production lines that take advantage of the latest technology, you’re missing out on changes to improve the overall quality of your product and operations.
But what are the best pieces of equipment and technology to invest in? And what will be the right fit for your business? Whether you’re just getting started in the food and bakery industry, or looking to update your equipment, there’s a place you can get a first hand look at it all in action.
PROCESS EXPO 2019!
Produced by the Food Processing Suppliers Association (FPSA), this is the largest trade show dedicated to bringing the latest technology and integrated solutions to all segments of the food and beverage processing and packaging industry in North America. From live demonstrations to education sessions on the expo floor, this is a place you can make partnerships and discover emerging trends and technologies.
This year, the show takes place in Chicago, October 8-11. And like every year, there will be a few things you don’t want to miss!
Exhibition floor
Over 500 suppliers from key industry segments gather to showcase technology and equipment. One of the unique things of this show is the horizontal set up of the exhibit hall, which allows you to see crossover solutions and insights from other sectors that could be used for your operations. Areas covered include:
- Food processing technology
- Food and beverage packaging solutions
- Food safety and sanitation
- Solutions to help maintain and grow your business
Complete product line demonstrations
One of the coolest parts of the show! Entire processing lines are set up and in use, start to finish! Several times a day, demonstrations occur so you can see how different pieces of equipment work, and how they would fit in your operations.
This year, one of the demonstrations will be a frozen pizza production line, which will highlight interesting solutions for those looking for dough and topping production and packaging equipment.
Education
Throughout the event, there are a number of sessions that cover relevant topics such as food safety and the Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA), alternative methods of production and automation, as well as food processing and packaging topics specific to each of the major industry segments.
Come hear Dr. Lin speak!
Dr. Lin Carson of BAKERpedia will be presenting at the show on how to remove artificial preservatives from your baking label. Natural and organic baking is one of the biggest trends this year, but what ingredient and processing solutions can help you create a clean label product? Come listen to her presentation!
