About Kent Van AmburgCAE – Executive Director, American Society of Baking. Kent has 30 years of experience in association management including government affairs, research development, strategic planning and executive management. Kent began his career with the Foreign Agricultural Service. He then represented the U.S. grain industry in international trade negotiations as the Director of Government and Industry Affairs for the Grains Council. He served as the Executive Director of 4 associations within the American Trucking Association. Kent is currently the Executive Director of the American Society of Baking. He has a Master’s from Purdue University in international agricultural economics.
